We have a current commercial system that runs on the dsPIC33EP512GP506 (Ansi C code) which is currently unavailable. Also we want to take advantage for future development of the capabilities of the ESP32 S3. This project has 3 key elements: 1) Redesign the current circuit board to be exactly the same size, same plugs, same mounting holes and peripherals but change the microprocessor. Will require new schematic and gerber files 2) Migrate the C code especially device drivers to run efficiently on the ESP32 S3 ensuring software timers work at the same speed as the current ones. 3) Build 5 prototype boards with all components to fully prove the design. We will provide 2 sets of peripherals to the freelancer. Peripherals are: 1) 4 x 16 character LCD (including back light control) 2) CC1101SE RF 433mhz module 3) Speaker 4) TX Infrared on a PCB with 3 colour LED outputs 5) RX infrared (Gun) 6) RX Infrared (Head) with 2 coloured LED outputs 7) SD card 8) Key Switch on/off The project milestones are: 1) new PCB design build and basic peripheral functionality demonstrated working by video with revised schematic, gerber files and source code provided to Pathfinder Events Pty Ltd 2) Migrated all code and 3 sets of working units provided to us that we can test to ensure everything works properly. Updated source code to be provided to Pathfinder Events Pty Ltd. We will pay for reasonable cost of parts, blank PCB's and shipping costs for this project. Electronic assembly cost for 5 prototype units to be included in the bid IMPORTANT: Do no put in a low bid and then try to renegotiate price later. Ask questions before you make the final bid All software and electronics developed by this project belong to Pathfinder Events Pty Ltd. The freelancer must agree to these terms. It is important the developer has strong hardware and firmware skills especially relating to the ESP32 family.

Hello Details that are written in the Job description is not enough for a embedded engineer to write down new code again we need full functionality of the project with block diagram (As in attachments ) Number of different PCB's blocks are there with Eagle files and PDF's we are the company here with PCB designer ,Embedded engineer and hardware testing engineer. you need to send as fabricated PCB(Designed by us using ESP) so we can test in our lab with new code (written by us). Can we combine All different PCB's in to one PCB or we also need to make individual PCB's. My approach for the job Step one : I will complete schematic with LCSC part number so you can place order at JLC PCB(they provide Best price for PCB assembly) Step two we will complete PCB file as per give your given size. And I can share All manufacturing files so you can place order to Manufacturer Step Three: You will pay and place order directly to Manufacturer Step four : while PCB is in manufacturing stage we will start coding Step five : we will receive PCB files and we will code the hardware Step six: Testing of the hardware with new code Step Seven : Demo on video and we will help you to test those PCB with new code at your end on live video call supports Note : Manufacturer will ship to us and 2 PCB 's to your country .Sending PCB's from our country is little difficult. we will split the price in to milestone with time line after receiving block diagram and complete functionality of the product

Also designed many circuit board with PCB and ALtium. Actually I dont have experience about dsPIC33EP512GP506 but I am sure I can get hired because I am very fast learner and have rich experience in firmeware development in other pic or atmegas. Having worked with usb, filesystem, sdio and ethernet bsp porting for various microcontrollers and having past repositories, i can pull it off. I have 17 years experience handling allegro schematic and pcb designs, bom , gerber preparations and hardware design for linux and microcontroller based gateways and dataloggers. Also worked with firmware development for various 32 bit micros including ESP32 and gcc compilers. I can work with ESP-IDF Official SDK in command line too with my experience for gcc and linux.
