I need to make a test with read data from mbus card [login to view URL] send data from mbus card to my esp8266 i need asso help read data is now "▒x▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒x▒x▒x▒xxx▒▒x▒▒▒xxx" i have test in my computer i use TXD on M-bus card to TX on my cabel and RXD on mbus card to RX in my cabel and i get data every 10 secdens i use this cabel : [login to view URL] i need help NOW ASSP ..:) i need asso help to analys hex/des formats

Hi! Im an electrical and electronic masters student studying in UWE. I have the experience of coding in C/C++/Assembly/Arduino/PIC C/MikroC/MATLAB for more than three years. Hello you know that esp8266 working with logic lvl 3,3v in RX, you must send is one string of command AT, but you have connect the wire from PC to M_A and M_B?

Hello, I have experience with communication protocols (Modbus, MBus, EnOcean, Lonworks), embedded systems (RPi, ESP8266), SCADA systems, binary and hex data processing. I'm also an experienced Linux user and network administrator. Regarding coding I'm mostly doing Python but I have experience with C as well. I had an ESP8266 a while ago and I used MicroPython on it so we could use it for yours as well. While there are MBus libraries for Python I don't think we could use them on the ESP8266 as they depend on the libmbus library. However if we manage to get some MBus data on the ESP8266 we can see how to decode it afterwards. Best wishes, iticus
