Film Festival Coordinator in Auckland - 05/05/2017

Dear Freelaners! We are searching for a local person in Auckland to help us in setting up the network of the Film Festivals in New Zealand. Project time: about 20-30 hours Status: once or several times a year The freelancer must be willing to be in a contract/agreement. ● Setting up with the help of Director of Operations the contacts with the theatres, which would like to have a venue with the festival; and booking the event. ● Online Assisting with administration of the Facebook page of the festivals ● Managing the orders for all external services (including the Step and Repeats, Red carpets, lights, leaflets, posters, trailers order and others) and reporting directly to the Director of Operations for billing. ● Online Assisting (through emails) the filmmakers which films are going to be screened at the festival. ● Check the website of the festival for errors. ● Media promotion of the festival (press, media and so on) ● Coordinating work between the filmmakers and the theatres where the event will take place. ● Online Assisting location managers, filmmakers, photographers, press, and special guests in administrative and crew coordinating tasks, during the preparation and planning of the events. ● Drafting and revising the event’s schedules. ● Online Communicating the event’s schedule to all staff, filmmakers, sponsors and volunteers attending the film festival. ● Online Assisting and informing the filmmakers and special guests attending the festival for the event’s schedule and accommodation details. ● Attending the festivals , problem solving and making sure everything runs smoothly. ● Booking the next event with the theatre. Contractor ’s services will be nonexclusive to Producer (provided that any services Contractor may perform for a third party shall not interfere materially with the services required hereunder).
