Dear Lisa, I've been abused by my ex both physically and emotionally. It was awful and the emotional abuse is much harder to endure than anything else. He literally ruined 10 years of my life even though modern psychology says that we are responsible for everything that happens to us. I can't agree with it. Okay, I can be responsible for dating him, marrying him because he was such a great manipulator. And an excessive alcoholic. I moved on and now in my forties, I'm living with my parents and my precious twins who have also been abused psychically. I ended up with Post Traumatic Syndrome, countless psychotherapy sessions and alike. I still can't say that I'm that old Natasa but I have to be brave because of my kids and their future.
