Overview We aim to replace our current Excel-based process with a robust internal order confirmation system. This system will automate and streamline the management of weekly orders and confirmations, increasing efficiency, reducing errors, and maintaining a structured approach to sales operations. Objective Develop a web-based system that allows salespeople to manage product and customer information efficiently, generate order templates, and automate the creation of confirmation documents, mimicking the structure and data from the "example weekly order [login to view URL]" and "example order [login to view URL]" provided. Key Features Weekly Order Template Generation: Automate the creation of weekly order templates based on the weeks, with the capability to product details, which can be adjusted as needed. This system will replicate the ease of updating data as seen in the Excel template, ensuring a user-friendly interface for salespeople. Automated Order Confirmations: Generate order confirmation documents that mirror the format and detailed content of the "example order [login to view URL]". These documents will be created automatically and include transaction information such as product descriptions, quantities, and total pricing, ready to be emailed or printed as PDFs. Data Handling and Security: Efficiently handle and store order data on a virtual server without requiring sensitive data protection or GDPR compliance, as per your specifications. User Interface: Develop an intuitive and responsive interface that minimizes the learning curve and enhances user engagement, accessible from various devices including desktops and tablets. No ERP Integration Required: The system will operate independently of any existing ERP or CRM systems, focusing solely on the functionalities required for order management as described. Detailed Integration of Excel File Data Excel File Structure and Key Data Points: Integrate customer identifiers, weekly scheduling, product details including article numbers, descriptions, units, and standard quantities, pricing, discounts, and promotional offers from the "example weekly order [login to view URL]".
