Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Remote HVAC Material Estimator to provide an accurate estimate for a ductwork removal and replacement project. This position is suitable for a freelancer who can work remotely, as the evaluation of the existing HVAC system and ductwork has already been conducted on-site. All the necessary information and measurements will be provided to you for estimating the materials required for removing the existing ductwork and installing new ductwork. Responsibilities: 1. Review the provided information and measurements of the existing HVAC system and ductwork. 2. Analyze the details to identify the materials needed for removing the existing ductwork and installing new ductwork. 3. Create a comprehensive list of materials required for the project, including ducts, vents, fittings, insulation, and fasteners. 4. Estimate the quantity of each material required, considering potential waste and additional needs. 5. Collaborate with the project manager or homeowner to clarify any questions or concerns about the project and materials needed. 6. Work efficiently to deliver an accurate materials estimate within the specified timeframe. Qualifications: 1. Proven experience in HVAC systems, specifically with ductwork installation and removal. 2. Strong knowledge of HVAC materials and their appropriate usage. 3. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. 4. Ability to work independently and remotely, without on-site evaluation. 5. Effective communication skills to gather any additional information needed. 6. Degree or certification in HVAC, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
