I'm an author who writes Young Adult novels. I have a Fantasy short story that I want to publish, but I'd like to collaborate with an illustrator. I'll need an illustration for the cover and several for the interior. The preferred style is anime/manga. I've attached a sample of the type of artwork I like. The story is an unusual take on Scottish lore, involving elves, selkies, kelpies, and mermaids, but has one main character who is a Daione Sith. The manuscript is 8600 words, which is about 22 pages in a 6x9 book (without illustrations). I will provide the story text for you to consider. I will format the book cover and interior. I can credit the artist as illustrator and provide their contact information. I am also willing to consider a royalty split.
