Contextual links, these are the most powerfull,if sone right on website that are related to yours. Articles directories, most of them are deinxed by google and they bring a penalty with them when used, so Web directories. The links from WMT can be of real help because they will show me how many google sees and what density the anchor texts are I'll will get ~98% of all the links using premium tools like moz, majestic, cognitiveSEO, ahrefs and others.
