Java Development

Job Duties:  Study & Analyze User Requirements  Responsible for building Java components for web forms developments  Participate in project implementation, solution development, documentation, testing, delivery and support  Ensure timely delivery to quality standards as per project plans  Report to supervisor to ensure the project is on the right track  Project management Requirements:  At least 4 years of experience of developing applications using Java technologies, deep knowledge of the Java platform itself  Solid experience in Java/J2EE/ JSP, JavaScript, XML, Struts, Spring, Hibernate and SQL  Strong skills in software architecture, object oriented design, refactoring, multi-threading  Excellent knowledge in Unix / Linux / Window platforms;  Knowledge in Oracle, SQL Server and MySQL database development;  Experience in solution design for B2B Integration Solutions using middleware such as Sterling Commerce GIS/SI, Connect Direct, IBM Websphere, WebMethods etc, is an advantage;  Experience in EDI/B2B and Systems Integration is an advantage;  Excellent communication skills with customers and strong documentation skills;  Strong analytical and problem solving skills;  Positive attitude, confident, customer focused, independent, fast learning, & self driven;  Detail oriented and solid logical thinking  Strong team player with good verbal and written communication skills in English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin);  Ability to work under pressure;  Traveling may be required.  Immediate availability is preferred;
