Big Cartel Online Store - JQuery coding

I am designing an on-line clothing store and recently have come across JQuery plugins such as there picture sliders available free on various websites. I would like to run JQuery library from Google , but am facing difficulties implementing my selected J query plugins on my html pages. This is the simple job I would require assistance with. I will provide access to my online store for this to be coded.
