Us javascript to default select place from autocomplete

I have a link that will preset values in a form. All values are preset well, only the google places autocomplete (jquery geocomplete) is not working properly. The value has been set in the input field, but it has not been selected from the autocomplete suggestions, wich results into unexpected results. All you need to do is to make sure the value will be set just as if a user selects (clicks) on a autocomplete suggestion. This should be a piece of cake for someone who knows all about the jquery geocomplete plugin.
