We always prefer quality and bug free code over coding speed but having both skills is an [login to view URL] responsibilities and tasks * Work as a member of a small team to maintain, develop and launch features and modules using Java technologies. * Provide recommendations to management with respect to systems architecture as it pertains to scalability and technology risk. * Research and maintain awareness regarding new software technologies and their potential applications to Reflexity products and services. <!-- --> ## Deliverables Requirements * Minimum 2-3 years experience with Object Oriented Programming, Design Patterns and J2SE, J2EE (including JDBC, JSP/Servlets, EJB and Web Services) * Experience with MySQL server * Basic knowledge of XML (XPath, XSD) * Experience with OS and application servers: Linux Fedora, Apache, Tomcat, JBoss * Problem solving skills and initiative driven * Ability to work under pressure and occasionally tight deadlines * Ability to understand and anticipate interactions between features and modules * Capacity to describe and write basic projects specs and turn them into basic code documentation in English * Capacity to do your own Quality Assurance on your code. ## Platform Assets * Experience with AJAX is a definite asset * Experience of Google?s Adwords, Yahoo?s Search Marketing and MSN?s Adcenter APIs? a strong asset. * Knowledge of PHP scripting * Knowledge of Flash into reporting and graphics an asset Please send your resume to elizabeth at reflexity.com.
