Hello, According to the problem description, now the problem is not only related to the outlook ....but it went beyond that to chrome and other MS Office software. So, we need to check for a problem related to Windows XP (ex: corrupted files or virus activity ..etc) and may be hardware problem related to hard disk drive. I suggest checking the hard disk drive first, then checking for virus or malicious software, after that we can consider whether to look for windows XP corrupted files or re-install windows xp (whichever you prefer).
