Web browser inside App – android (simpler, yet similar to Yelp App) We need to make a webapp that replicates the functionality of our website. We are looking for a facebook type approach that app will be based onbrowser and will work on multiple sized android screens. Technical aspects needed = GPS/AGPS script that picks nearby city/ state/ country location of the person Incorporate OpenStreetMap, Map zoom , browse feature with plotted data (from database) Nearby Events Listing from Database using long/ lat data Register/ Log in, Posting Events, Uploading picture for Event (Event = database instance) Sign in with Facebook / Twitter Display event page and show details (fetched from database). Hi, I have experience in GPS and mapping-related applications. I have developed fleet-management solution for our company by creating LBS modules providing AGPS functionality for iDEN based handsets based of NMEA format. I have worked to create web-based solution for our customers to track and manage their fleets online using Navteq AJAX maps. I have created and maintained Oracle backend database for maintaining the GPS data and developed functionalities for our customers such as Speed alerts, creating Geo-boundaries for their vehicles and integrating with SMS-based alerts for any GeoFence rule violations, overspeed violation etc. I have used .NET to develop this. Currently, we are developing Android App for the same fleet management for our customers using Navteq APIs for the targeted handsets i1x, i1E (Android Eclair 2.1 and above).
