Finding Tutor and Tutor Profile Creation App

This app is similar, but not totally the same, as the following 2 apps: 1. Myprivatetutor [login to view URL] 2. startutor [login to view URL] [login to view URL] Please visit the above links to view the photo layouts and the concept. There are 2 types of users: a) Tutors, and b) Finders (students who want a tutor) a) The purpose for tutors is to display their profile. b) The purpose for finders is to use Selection Filters, and then go through a list of tutors When the app starts up, there will be a screen saying: a) I am a tutor b) I am finding a tutor c) Save my Selection When the person clicks I am finding a tutor, He will see a page which has 5 drop-down selection boxes acting as Filters: Filter 1: Subject: Maths, English, Science, Chemistry, Biology, Adult English, Chinese, Japanese, etc. Filter 2: Level > primary 1 - Lower Primary , primary 2 - Lower Primary, primary 4- Upper Primary, Primary 6 - Upper Primary, etc. Filter 3: Gender > Male, Female Filter 4: Day Slot > Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Sunday etc. Filter 5: Time Slot > 9am, 10am,etc. Finder will see a list of tutors, row after row. Each row will display a i) Name, ii) Phone Number, and iii) 8- word description iv) Minimum Price per hour, such as: $25 per hour etc. When they click on a tutor, they will see a profile containing i) Each time slot and day availabilities of the tutor, such as: Monday 2pm, Wednesday 5pm, etc. ii) Subjects and at which level Taught: Lower Primary & Maths, Lower Secondary & Maths, etc. iii) Preferred Locations in Singapore: Bedok, Tampines, Etc. iv) a 8 word description v) a further 30 word description vi) Minimum Price Per Hour , such as: $25 per hour, $30 per hour, etc. vii) Checkbox to show if price is Negotiable or Non-Negotiable viii) Phone Number SMS viiii) Phone Number Call x) E-mail --- Now for the Tutors. When the person clicks I am a Tutor, The tutor will enter a screen with the following buttons: 1) Register or 2) Login 3) Forgot Password If the tutor clicks Register, he will enter a Create Account Screen The Create Account screen contains the following boxes to fill up: 0) User Name 00) Password i) 10 Empty Time slot and Day Combinations to fill up, in the form of 10 checkboxes, whenever a checkbox is ticked, 2 things appear: a Time Slot Dropdown box - 3pm, 4pm, 10pm appears, and a Day Dropdown Box - Wednesday, Thurs, etc. This allows a person to choose a maximum of 10 time-slot-and-day combinations, such as: Monday 3pm, Thursday 5pm, etc. The minimum is 1 time-slot-and-day combination ii) Subjects and at which level Taught: Lower Primary & Maths, Upper Primary & English, etc. iii) Preferred Locations in Singapore: Bedok, Tampines, etc. iv) a 8 word description fill in text box v) a further 30 word description fill in text box vi) Minimum Price Per Hour , such as: $25 per hour, etc. Dropdown box vii) Checkbox to show if price is Negotiable or Non-Negotiable - checkbox to tick viii) Phone Number SMS fill in text box viiii) Phone Number Call fill in text box - with checking number format x) E-mail fill in text box - with checking email format xi) A note to say that there will be a charge of $2 per Time-slot-day combination xii) A automatic counter that calculates the total check-out charge cost based on the number of time-slot-day combinations chosen in part (i) for example, if 3 time-slot-day combination checkboxes were ticked and selected, this Counter will now display 3 * 2 = $6 xiii) a Checkout button When they press checkout, they are brought to a page to pay by credit card / paypal /itunes After that is a payment success page. The Manage Account page is shown after Payment Success, OR after clicking Login and entering Username and password. Manage Account Page basically allows the tutor to edit the fields above when creating accounts, and also to add time-day combinations.
