Creating Web Admin in PHP or Rails (1075476)

I am creating a WordPress site that will contain news articles, videos and a directory of companies, universities and industrial products. This project calls for the creation of a separate backend to manage individual company, university and product profiles. I have created two sets of layouts/wireframes for you to review. One is the backend for contributors and the other is the backend for the Site Admin. (Please note: very small changes may be made to final designs.) All layouts/wireframes will be converted to .psd design files and you will be in charge of the following: • Converting psd files to HTML (pages must validate ??" NO TABLES ALLOWED) • Programming Admin Pages • Creating Database Schema • Loading and Testing Admin on Server • Ensuring that it works flawlessly with my WordPress site. This will require you to pull data from db and populate WordPRess pages with content from DB. Also, this will also need to be able to work with WordPress’ RSS feeds. Skills needed include the following: HTML, CSS, PHP or ROR, MySQL and very limited Javascript (Scriptaculous library). I am also open for the site to be created in a PHP framework such as Cake or CodeIgniter. Pages must be optimized to load quickly and be bug free. My Timeline is as follows: Provide you with .psd files by January 26th Complete Site programming on February 13th I expect working, bug-free code by February 13th. Daily updates via IM and Project Tracking tool are also required. My budget is between $1,100 and $1,400. Only those with great skills and feedback need apply. Payment I will escrow project funds. I expect tech/bug-support for 3 weeks after the project has been completed. I will hold the last 25% in escrow and will release it after the support period has ended. Something to consider: If someone believes this can be incorporated into WordPress please provide me with a brief explanation and your bid (Note: This bid should then be for a substantially smaller amount.) ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows? (depending on the nature? of the deliverables): a)? For web sites or? other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software? installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
