9292 Revised: Printing Company Site

I have posted this project before, but could not engage due to various constraints, but the project is a 100% go this time! I have a client who operates a printing company. They can do digital prints of any size (almost) and on any material (almost) for indoor and outdoor display. They are looking for a multiphased approach to their web solution. Initially they will look into designs and concepts for the UI and we need to have a fresh approach. The site will include a lot of modules including newsletter subscription, members only area (and the admin to manage this), ftp upload capabilities for members, what's new, customer testimonials, press area, feedback forms, quotations request, and a few others. They also need really jazzy and effective flash animations. In the long run, SEO will be a big part of the picture as well. This is all part of phase one of the development. So the options that are open to me is to use a multi vendor approach (unless I will be lucky in finding one vendor with the skills to do everything, hopefully..) Anyway, please be prepared to show some really challenging designs to start with. I need as much information into both your design and development (programming, including database) for me to decide. This could be a long term project for the right development partner since the client wants this to be an ongoing contract and if I find the right partner to manage this, that also would be great. First I would like to do the PSD design of the site (maybe 2-3 pages, one for home and other for inside). Also, I will need a really jazzy 20-30 second Flash Intro. The site will have about 40-50 pages with the normal stuff that you see in most websites, like contact form and initial quote form as well as specific product and service information. Basically you have to be able to show off your products in the best way. I will also be adding a members area which will give FTP access in a secure way. So this will need to have some admin to it.. 1. Design for site and Flash intro (I am looking for [login to view URL] type of cool and visually appealing designs) 2. 20-25 pages of information (Home, About Us, Why Use Us? Tech Stuff, Equipment Info and Site Tour, Products and Service (10-12 services, digital printing, advert printing, silkscreen, large scale digital, large format banner, etc, etc.) 3. Contact Us for quote form (Managed by MySQL, database building is very very important for this client) 4. Newsletter subscription/unsubscribe (Managed by MySQL) 5. Members area (with specific login and password) 6. In the members area there will be specific information for members over time. Initially we would like members to be able to upload files and have alist of files that they can add to edit or change/delete. 7. What's New area (can be edited manually or better yet maybe implement a CMS module for textarea (like Innovatools or fckeditor, etc, if you can) 8. Customer Testimonials 9. Specifications for Pre-Press 10. Downloads Of course there will be lots of pictures thorough out the site and also logos and other graphics. Some of this stuff I will be able to give to you and other stuff maybe pulled from free stock sites or the net, etc. These are most of the features and I think that this should be a fairly straighforward task for professional developers. So, basically it is a complete project and I will work with a company that has time, expertise and patience to do this. Keep in mind that there will also be a phase 2 and phase 3 and also there will be long term maintenance of the site for the partner that I will select.
