There is a different solution that might be even better for you. Not sure if you are familiar with a multi language plugin, that can be used in cases like this. This means that you end up with only one install (not multi install) and the plugin, and all the content is managed by this plugin. This way you have a clear picture of what's translated and what not. Anyway I can do the clean install in different subdirectories too and I can set up a working example of the multilanguage plugin to see if it would suit your needs. Regards Eva
