Convert existing social network into a mobile friendly/supported version!

We've an existing social network powered in PHP/MySQL with a lot of existing JQuery and AJAX features. It's the standard sort of social network - status updates (with photos), search for users, send messages, view profiles and add friends. We need a mobile version of the website to be created. Something a lot faster on mobile, designed to look/feel perfect on a handheld device. We only need the following pages on mobile: - Register/Login - Welcome Steps on First Login (add bio, profile photo, city, job title, etc.) - Home Feed (with status updates and photos - allow you to update your status too) - User Search (search for existing users by name, age range, location, etc.) - View Profiles (see your own profile and other users profiles) - Inbox/Messaging System - Settings (update profile details, change notification settings and privacy settings) The actual functionality already exists and has been built for the desktop website which is now complete. We just need someone to create a slick designed mobile site (compatible with iPhone, BlackBerry & Android) that responds quickly and is easy to navigate around. Experience and good feedback is important and communication is key.
