MySQL Database Expansion and Modification

I am a front end web developer that needs help from someone who is really into MySQL. Databases are not my forte. I need the help of someone who works on (and creates) Databases all the time, so that my project is structured properly from the start. You will also need PHP skills. I have created a website that currently has a database. However, I need some extra tables added to the database. I am a front end web developer with good PHP and HTML knowledge, so I will will work with you by doing the front end, while you do the back end. All you will need to do is edit the database and create the bare minimal form functionality (what ever is required for the database to function). You don't need to worry about design or integration. Quick slap up forms on an empty php page will do. You will be working strictly on the back end. FUNCTIONALITY Basically we will me making it up as we go along (depending on what you recommend, regarding the database). You will be working with me. However, here's the type of things you will be required to help me do. - User registration (with email validation step), and encrypted passwords. I can pretty much do that much myself :) - Creation of database structure. Users will need the following fields: username, email, password, 5 referral tables. - The website will also utilize a referral ID. When a new user comes to the website via an existing users ID, there needs to be some php to look at the referrers tables in the database, get some information and turn it into session values. ie: The referrers name, etc. Pretty basic stuff. That's it really. It's a fairly simple concept. I really just need someone in Skype, that I can talk to as I am working on the website. I wont bug you for anything more than what I really need. The main things I will need from you is: 1 - Set up the database structure 2 - Write some basic forms such as register and lost password. 3 - Work with me to create the functionality to get information from the database and create the sessions as a new user is referred to the website. I think we should be able to get most of this done in an 8 hour session together. Or, if you want to help me while you do other things (ie: 2 hours a day, or what ever), I don't mind. I'm pretty easy. I'm not in a huge hurry. I have a much larger project for anyone who helps me with this small project. If I like your skills and helpfulness, you can help me with my other project in the near future.
