osCommerce modifications needed for an active site. Below are listed the items we need, it is a small amount of work so please bid accordingly. I have a web design company and we are currently stacked out so need to get someone else to do these bits and pieces. It will undoubtedly lead to more work for the right candidate, but please read the following carefully. [-- Do not bid on this if you have too many projects on at present and cannot fulfill the job in the time required. I have had two people work for me from this board and they just disappeared half way through the job, didn't do any work just filled me with excuse after excuse as to why they can't show me the work yet. Please don't do this as it is unprofessional and leads to me as the project manager looking like an arse and potentially loosing clients which in turn means less work for this job board. Communication must be maintained! --] ------------------------------------------------------------------ Now to the requirements of the job in hand: Escrow Full Payment on receipt of items listed no % up front (I have just been burnt by a freelancer on GAF and it took a month to get my money back from Paypal, we live and learn...) It is an osCommerce site which is now active. -------------------------------- INDIVIDUAL SHIPPING MODIFICATION The Indvidual Shipping modification is active but does not work as we would like it. We have [Flat Rate] and [Individual Rate] and we require it to add these shipping charges together. At present it only allows you to select one or the other. So for instance if the Individual shipping is 10 and the Flat Rate is 5 you can only select one or the other. We want the shipping prices to be totaled together so once you get to the shipping page it shows the items and the total cost of shipping. I am sure someone else would have done this before as there is a bunch of forum entries on it on the OSC site. -------------------------------- -------------------------------- SUB CATEGORIES We have a few [Sub Categories] to add and would need the menu adjusted to incorporate these additions. Your skills will be required in making the menus CSS drop downs in the style that is currently being used. -------------------------------- WORLD PAY INSTALLATION Installation of [World Pay] as an alternative payment gateway. -------------------------------- SSL ACTIVATION We have a HTTPS:// server to use but when I just tried it it did not keep the items in the basket once you went to check out, no doubt this is an easy change but we don't have the time to look into to it so need this to be added. -------------------------------- I create these sites myself so know OSC pretty well as I also install the mods and contribs myself, with this in mind please make sure you bid accordingly, I know how long things take and this work listed is a days work tops.
