We need a small TAPI answering machine for addon to a project we are working on. The objective of this module is as follows: 1\ Someone calls our telephone line and the program answers the call after two rings. 2\ A message (wav file) is then played to the caller prompting them to enter an extension. 3\ The number entered by the caller is then displayed in a texbox. 4\ Another message (wav file) is played to the caller depending on the extension entered. After this, we then pick up the call by simply picking up the phone and clicking "hangup" on the app. If we do not pick up the call then the caller is promted to leave a message. If the caller does not respond in ten seconds, then a "goodbye" greeting is played and the call ended. We have a sample app which is a similar to what we want. We want something less complicated and the code scaled down a lot as a lot of the functions are of no use nor required by us. This app must be based solely on TAPI and automatically search for any available Tapi lines (or modems) for us to select from and save the settings.
