Custom php or variable.

Hello, I am currently using the Gravity Forms plugin for my site. I use it for a secure customer area. I have built in custom queues that change when the client interacts with the website. Meaning if a customer provides us with their shopping tracking number through a form a variable gets passed to change the queue to "Tracking Number Received." The problem I am having is if the customer bookmarks this page after the system has been updated the variables are still in the url that they are bookmarking. This creates a huge problem when we maybe two or three queue changes down the road before the customer goes back to their favorites and clicks on the link. This inevitably reverts back to the old queue because the variable is still in the url that they bookmarked. Is there even away to prevent or fix this?
