94141 Poll Script & Website Stage 1

Initial outline I wish to develop an interactive polling website. Basic design but one that can be changed and added too easily in the future. Access to site is free for all but free registered get additional options. Sections / Pages: - Index - Registration - double opt in - Question template - Add question - User profile - Blank page one html field - Blank page two html field - Admin panel to control all aspects Elements: - Poll script - Distribution of data from resulting poll to user profile, question page and main page - Also latest question added, most popular, latest profile etc. - User registration, double opt in - Newsletter as previous - Over 16 content enabled / disabled - Click tracking - Banner rotation and placement (html and or link and image (external)) - some turned off for regd users. add new in admin, editable elements? discuss. - SEO friendly URLs - question in url minus regular words like the, a, this, of, etc. - Meta tags, description, keywords, title auto filled - Added questions go into admin for authorisation, questions should be editable - Short question from add question goes into user profile under right heading, when they vote - if they vote. - Ability to edit header, footer etc. and any part of the site if possible. - Main page editable, top field - news / updates. - Ability to add news pages, possibly, maybe later. discuss. as per links in header and footer. - Featured polls and random - via admin - displayed in blue boxes on bottom of content on pages. - Graphical bar for poll results, in tenths of 100% again distribution of same data Tracking: When a registered user votes in a poll, that is recorded so that a user can't vote again for a certain duration. Once user votes, sign says underneath 'you have already voted in this poll' and links don't show. Search: - Category - Profiles - Questions - Return results in neat orderly fashion, search box and options in header, possiblity for advance function... Actions: - Non Regd User can vote in polls once for duration - Regd users can vote in polls once for duaration - Regd users actions tracked - Regd users can add questions Rules: - Users can't vote in their own polls - People can only vote once per duration and don't have to be regd although reserve option to flick a switch to make it reg only - Users need to be regd to put up poll question - Polls added and voted in are entered into their profile and also displayed in the following manner, I would..... I wouldn't..... - No urls in question title unless a partner (partner in stage two) Design: As pictured but open to better ideas, not fussed, functionality more important at start. A basic site, simply all info gleamed from minimal actions should be redistributed around site as detailed. Stage 2 requirements (notes) - Different partner sign in page and profile, additional options - Users clicks tracked and allow for prize tickets to be awarded - Data will show in profile and admin panel - Ability to reandomly pick winner from ticket details in admin for each poll / user - More... Programming, Database, more Options - I'm open to whatever works the best.
