NOTE3: As part of the deliverables, you will have to provide a prototype or prove you are actually working on the project after 4 days into the project. This is in order to minimize the amount of time I lose on people who bid and never begin or even complete the work. Project description: Back-end - MySQL and PHP for login authentication Front-end - Apache/Tomcat Technologies used: PHP, XML, Servelets and JSP, HTML and DHTML. Design a system to deliver course material to the user via the web. A course for this purpose is defined as an object marked up in XML and delivered to a web client for example an e-text. Please see deliverables for additional details. ## Deliverables Deliverables and additional description: 1. Design [login to view URL] page for [login to view URL] (not real). This should be in HTML/DHTML and include a logo (your creation), use STYLE SHEET to format and include a user login and password on the side. The main page should include some text about the company. The text is just a bunch of letters. I dont need anything real in it right now. 2. A user which has a login account is presented with the next page. [login to view URL] which shows the user which training material he has access to. In this first version please create an object called: training-101 which is actually a link to a training course. 3. clicking on that link presents the user with the mainpage of the course, including the lesson list and a menu of activites i.e. quizzes, lesson 1-6 etc. 4. The lessons must be in XML, include the following sections: description of objectives, and tasks (i.e. read pages 100-131 of the following text and perform exercises 1-3 etc..). At least one of the lessons should present an animation demonstrating a user sitting in front of a computer and pushing the power button (or similar activity). NOTE: Servelets and JSP should be used to translate the XML language for presnetation to user. In addition, you must use a custom designed XML for this task (its up to you to decide). 5. The MYSQL db should contain user authentication and course/lesson progress information. 6. On the main page there should be an option to register for an account on the system. which takes you to another page to fill out info and create your account. NOTE: The specifications above are overall guidance, its up to you to come up with creative ideas. NOTE2: its nice if the course material includes animations, pictures, applets and audio feedback. NOTE3: You do not have to store the course material in the DB but it is an option if you feel its a better approach. DELIVERABLES: 1. ALL SOURCE, COMPILED OBJECTS, ANIMATION, PICTURES, SOUND must be included in the ZIP file. 2. Development report - include daily progress and changes achieved, a compelte USER GUIDE and description of every single page/file and the function of it.
