Simple file gallery, single page. There's a very tight deadline for this, ideally within a few days, 5 days max. Produce a php page that polls the server for an image/html ( still to be decided ) file. A basic timeout to check for images is fine, no pushing from the server is required. If it finds the it shows a thumbnail preview of it ( if an html file, display them in an iframe or whatever way you think best to display it at a reduced size ). On clicking on thumbnail the user is directed to the file. Ideally it should also include two or three dropdown menus that depending on their combination will specify which folder should be checked for the above image/html files. Don't worry about the look of it initially, just a wireframe is fine. There needs to be some flexibility in your code to allow the size of the thumbnails to be adjusted via CSS. Have attached a rough sketch, please see below for explanation... A – Drop down selectors. Depending on the combination of options selected, a given folder is checked for the files. B – Thumbnails : When clicked the user is directed to the file via its href. C – Scrolling both vertically and horizontally around the files is required, there will be up to five rows. D – The width and height should allow for resize, ideally reducing the thumbnail dimensions also. E – As a bonus, if it's possible to zoom out to get a more birds-eye view of the files that would be great.
