We have already developed POS plugins, mostly the receipt printer part. The simplest version of this project would consist of a client running on the mobile devices (just an HTML page read from the server) that send the order to the server (PHP,MySQL,HTML) which stores and print the receipt. The hard part would be testing the setup, because we don't have a receipt printer, just a virtual driver that simulate it. Fell free to communicate over PMs Regards.
