Dashboard Develoment: PHP & SQL Work Needed

I currently have a dashboard with one main table. I need help with creating a way to group rows of this table together so that we have a hierarchy of 1) rows and 2) subrows (which contain the merged data for all records grouped by a particular parameter). This means that some columns of the table will populate the subrows, and some will populate the main rows. I need help displaying this new "nested" version of the table in the dashboard. Users should have the ability to view the regular version of the table OR this new nested version -If they choose to view the nested version, they can also choose to hide the subrows. -I also need help generating the values for the columns of these new rows which pull data from all the corresponding subrows within each group. (either via simple arithmetic calculations or by a group_concatenate function) -I need help managing some table values of the dashboard via input fields. When the user presses the "save" button, these values from the input fields are saved/written to the sql table.
