SUBJECT: Convert an existing PHP API service to web service on ASP.Net MVC4 adhering to RESTful API architectural design on Visual [login to view URL] Existing design: PHP API provides access to list of pre-defined functions with pre-defined incoming parameters. All request made to PHP API, contains mandatory and optional parameters defined by PHP API. PHP API parses incoming data, validates incoming client information, followed by processing requested functionality. After processing it responds back with resultant string. Current PHP API design sends and receive ASCII string only. Expecting design: Built a web service on Visual Studio platform using ASP.Net MVC4 with respect to RESTful design architecture; development language: Visual Basic.Net. Expected design should adhere to RESTful architectural concept. Web service should handle authentication of incoming request. Web service should be able to respond back in xml, json and comma separated values format (to support existing PHP API). Web service should be able to send and receive text/ audio and video content. Web service would be able to expose methods to other websites and other platform independent applications. Web service would incorporate database interactions. We are looking for a person with following skill set: API Developers/ ASP.NET Developers/ MySQL Developers. Sample of existing PHP API ([login to view URL]) will be provided at a later stage.

Dear Sir, I have read everything and here's few questions: 1- For the point "Web service should be able to send and receive text/ audio and video content." the audio/video files path is to be sent and received and if it is content instead of path then can you please provide us the example of that? 2- What type of methods will be there, which will be exposed by the webservice? 3- What is the estimate size of data, which is to be sent or recieved by the service?
