Expert PHP Developer to improve performance of an image conversion code

We are looking for a highly experienced developer to optimize the performance of existing code which converts PNG files to SVG, EPS, JPG, and DXF formats. The code is written in PHP and uses libraries such as AWS SDK for PHP, Potracio, inkscape and pstoedit. It works fine, but it is too slow, especially when uploading multiple files. The ideal candidate should have experience with parallel/asynchronous code, optimization techniques and experience working with image processing libraries. They should also have a solid understanding of how to work with Amazon S3, inkscape and pstoedit. The main focus of the project will be to improve the speed of the code, allowing for multiple files to be processed at once. The developer will be responsible for optimizing the existing code and implementing new techniques to improve performance. Key responsibilities include: Optimizing the existing code to improve performance Implementing parallel/asynchronous code to process multiple files at once Ensure the code is scalable and can handle large numbers of files Troubleshoot and fix any issues that arise Collaborate with the team to ensure the code is maintainable and easy to understand.
