There are few possibilities on how to implement such a requirement. It depends mainly on the source code of the plugin you use. But in general to avoid any conflicts with your plugin update it is recommended to ammend the exported data file before doing the import. This could be done e.g. by 1. a wordpress event, it is likely your plugin creates one 2. a custom script or a custom wordpress module that is running automacially before you trigger the import Access to your wordpress backend is mandatory. The process would be completed in two steps: 1. An analysis of your existing source code after receiving access details offering a description on how to implement the requirements. 2.
