My band website [login to view URL] got hacked about a year ago, and the ModX backend got a bit hosed. I used to have nice clean forms for managing my database (adding/editing shows, adding/editing songs, adding/editing venues) that no longer work. I can add shows by directly editing the database in SQL, but i've noticed my past shows stopped updating, and my song list isn't updating when i add new songs. Also the google map functions stopped working as well. I'm a software dev and know a little about how it's set up, but I'm not a web dev, and I know nothing about ModX. If this is easy to just repair, excellent. If not, I'd like a new site. I just need to be able to: - Add/manage song list - Add/manage shows/venues EASILY (I don't want to manually enter venue data in every time for example. - Have a clean clear and simple design that doesn't look like an awkward template. - port my database/history (seeing past shows helps new venues see that we are established) I am not opposed to using 3rd party stuff like wordpress or widgets for even management, as long as it has the same look and feel of the website, and is easy to use.

Hi there, so sad to hear that your website got hacked. Sometimes it's better to just get a new fresh start - it might even give you some new good feelings about working on your website! I suggest we setup a new Wordpress website for you, responsive for all platforms, SEO-optimized etc. There should be no problem port your past show history into a cool timeline or such :) Also we should look at setting up SSL so your site gets encrypted (https) and perhaps your social media feed?
