Portal details: [login to view URL] We are seeking a highly skilled Drupal developer tin developing our existing Case Management System into a modular and API-driven architecture. The project involves migrating from Drupal 6 to the latest version of Drupal while implementing a Model-View-Controller (MVC) pattern to enhance maintainability and scalability. Responsibilities: • Analyze the existing codebase to identify areas for modularization and API integration. • Design and implement modular architecture following MVC principles, ensuring clear separation of concerns. • Develop RESTful APIs to facilitate communication between modules, adhering to industry best practices. • Refactor and migrate existing functionalities into the new architecture, replacing hard-coded dependencies with API calls. • Conduct thorough testing of each module and the integrated system to ensure functionality and interoperability. • Provide documentation for APIs and architectural decisions, as well as training sessions for developers and stakeholders. • Collaborate with the project manager and team members to ensure timely delivery and adherence to project requirements. Requirements: • Proficiency in Drupal development, with experience in both Drupal 6 and the latest version of Drupal. • Strong understanding of software architecture principles, particularly MVC pattern and API design. • Experience in developing RESTful APIs using Drupal's built-in capabilities or external modules. • Ability to refactor and migrate existing codebase while maintaining functionality and performance. • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a remote team environment. • Prior experience in large-scale system revamp projects or similar initiatives is preferred.
