We have a number of log files generated from our web application, we need specific XML data extracted from the log file. We are able to provide the top-level tag of the XML as parameter, A Nice to have would be to extract the values of the XML into a data base - each tag as a separate column value. A Break down of the functionality Input : Log file Input : Sample XML strings (more than one structure) Function : A. Program seperated the tags for each XML and creates CSV files with tags as header B. Program starts parsing the log file and loading the XML details to respective CSV Files. Each Top-Level tag would have to go to a seperate CSV files. A Single log file can have more than one XML Structure in it. Happy to provide a sample after having an initial conversation about this project. This is a parsing project - so prior text parsing experience is good. This is a small project - since it does not involve any complex logic or processing. Expect this to be delivered within the next 2 days.
