We have had a Executable written in the past to report back the Drop Box status. Drop Box has changed so we require a new app. We don't have the original Source. We require an executable to run that we will execute via a script that checks the Drop Box client status. It reports back I believe the four options and writes and event application log with the status. informational if in sync and warning for the other statuses.

Hi, I wrote a lot of apps in Python and Java. I like challenging projects. This project seems interesting to me. Description is not very clear so I want to ask in which operating system do you want to check the status of Dropbox client? In Linux Dropbox runs in background as a Python service and there is a plugin for Nautilus. However I don't know the situation in Windows an MacOSX Please do not hesitate to ask questins Best Regards
