Late penalties will be incurred for solutions submitted after 3:20 PM (20% deduction for each 5 minutes late with a maximum late time of 25 minutes). Solutions submitted 25 or more minutes will be worth 0. Specifications: Provide a complete solution to the following problem using the Python programming language. PART A: Write the code for a Python function named "extractAndConvert" that removes the Nth occurrence of a given word in a list and returns the a dictionary such that all remaining words are converted so that each word begins with an initial capital letter and all other characters in the word are converted to lowercase. The dictionary keys will consist of the words and each key's value will consist of the length of each word. For example, given a list of: items = [ "wISdoM", "FASCINATION", "BEginS", "in", "wonDEr" ] Then the function call: result = extractAndConvert(items, 4) removes the word "in" from the list and returns a dictionary as: { "Wisdom":6, "Fascination":11, "Begins":6, "Wonder":6 } (6 marks). PART B: The file "[login to view URL]" (see link below) contains lists of words and their definitions (one per line) such that the colon character ':' separates the word from its definition. The file contains 3459 lines. Write the code for a Python function called "readAncient" that accepts a string containing the name of a file and a word to search for and then searches through the file for that word (case insensitively; i.e. case does NOT matter). If the word is found, the function displays the word AND its definition as output: WORD=>DEFINITION For example, given the list of sample words above, the function call: readAncient("[login to view URL]", "abscido") would display: abscido=>to cut off, to separate, take away. If the dictionary contains multiple entries for the word, then your program would display ALL such entries.
