Communication Ethics Public Relations Case Study

For the paper, you will identify the field of study or career in communication that you are most interested in considering (public relations. Through library and internet research, you will identify the five most persistent ethical dilemmas in that field. These dilemmas are difficult issues, which are not obviously ethical or unethical. Often there are multiple justifiable responses to such a dilemma. For each dilemma, you will name the basic problem or ethical choice. Then, you will give two or more positions or responses commonly taken in response to the dilemma. Then, for each dilemma which you identified, you will choose a theory or idea from your study of communication ethics that would help you to navigate the dilemma. Having used that construct, show what conclusion you have reached and give an explanation of how your ethics idea led you to this conclusion. In other words, don’t just write about what is right, but explain why this behavior is right. Finally compose a short case study, either real or hypothetical, that will illustrate how each dilemma is faced by professionals in this field. Papers are 15 pages in length. Cite 10 or more sources.
