Original educational material is required to be produced for the Australian Curriculum ([login to view URL]) in Mathematics and Science for Years F, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12 in the Qedoc ([login to view URL]) format (ONE Qedoc Maker licence will be supplied, Qedoc Player is free).
Each category will include a 300*200 pixel media (png, animated gif or MP3) plus descriptive text for the material to be covered.
Each question will include a 300*200 pixel media (png, animated gif or MP3) and six contexts where possible.
Years 11 & 12 are VCE Units 1, 2, 3 & 4 ([login to view URL]). VCE includes: Foundation Mathematics 1&2, General Mathematics 1&2, Mathematical Methods 1&2, General Mathematics Advanced 1&2, Further Mathematics 3&4, Mathematical Methods 3&4, Specialist Mathematics 3&4, Biology 1&2, Chemistry 1&2, Physics 1&2, Psychology 1&2, Biology 3&4, Chemistry 3&4, Physics 3&4 and Psychology 3&4. Units 3&4 have external exams.
Text must be in Australian English (no American spelling like color).
For mathematics the majority of questions will require basic mathematical programming (as shown in the example in the word document). All variations must be completed using the 2-12 times tables to allow mental calculations (e.g. (x+a)(x+b)=0 would require {a>0 & b>0, a>0 & b<0, a<0 & b>0, a<0 & b<0, where a =+/- 2…12 and b =+/-2…12} thus 4 questions for minimum x-intercept and 4 questions for maximum x-intercept). For the area of a square based on side length there would be 4 questions (mm^2, cm^2, m^2 and km^2), which are basically 4 versions of the same question with minor adaptation to ‘Suffix to answer’ and the context data table.

Although this is about 20,000 questions, questions with good quality educationally engaging animated gifs will be paid as if they were 2 questions.
Questions/presentations with errors, such as spelling, calculation errors or incorrect definitions will results in 6 questions not being paid. If you produce 400 correct standard questions plus 250 correct questions with good quality educational engaging animated gifs plus 100 correct category presentations plus 10 questions/presentations with mistakes you would be paid for 400 + 2*250 + 100 – 5*10 = 950 questions. I would prefer the majority of questions to have good quality educational engaging animated gifs with no questions containing errors. Errors detract from the quality of the whole, lower students’ confidence in the material and costs time to eradicate. I suggest you get another person to review the questions as another person is more likely to find mistakes, particularly if you pay them (e.g. 3 questions) for each error found.
Year 3 Mathematics, Year 9 Mathematics, Specialist Mathematics 3&4 and Physics 3&4 must be completed by 1st November 2012.
All to be completed by 1st December 2012 for a presentation at a Maths conference.

A question with an educational engaging animated gif will be considered worth 2 questions.
It may take at least 4 people to complete this before the 1st December 2012.

First Milestone = 100 questions of Year 7 Algebra in first week. This must include a variety of question types to ensure I can provide feedback.
Other Milestones = 1500 questions every Friday with payment Monday, Australian time.
1. Bidding is based on 1000 questions.
2. Bidders must supply a sample question with png file like the one attached to find the minimum/smaller x-intercept of y=ax^2+bx+c, where a>0 and b>0 and c<0 and the answer is an integer.
3. Bidders must supply a sample question with animated gif and MP3 file to name the process of meiosis.
I am working on my graduate degree in math and engineering. This opportunity would give me the needed funds in order to pay for my education and obtaining the proper experience in teaching students interested in math.
