Social Media Manager

MOBLE is an Australian made website design building platform preparing for global launch in 2022. The platform is similar to the likes of billion-dollar competitors like Wix and Squarespace, though feels more like Canva with code. MOBLE has thousands of drag and drop design layouts that instantly transform into our clients brand as soon as they drop them on to their page, enabling endless design opportunities, with world-first technology. Unlike competitors in the bottom-end, MOBLE is not just for small business our powerful CMS is well suited to the Mid-Market. The platform includes serious ecommerce technology that merges the gap between instore and online. Our clients have a key focus on customer acquisition, aided by inbuilt technology to guide customers from initial interactions to first purchase, using QR Codes, Beacons, Virtual Vouchers and much more. MOBLE is currently a small team that is about to expand globally. We have realistic plans to become a new Australian unicorn and this is your opportunity to join us on that journey. To date, we have never needed to do any advertising and are entirely self-funded. As such, the new Community & Social Media Manager role is both a pivotal role to our growth, and an unparalleled career opportunity to document an inspiring Australian story. Role First employee in the content team. Opportunity to employ new people and manage a team. Assist with the production of MOBLE’s Web School (build your own website) course and YouTube Channel. Shot in our stunning studio on Jones Bay Wharf, with harbourside backdrop. Shoot 10-20 seconds intro clips for each course episode. You will be provided with camera equipment and will shoot each opening at key locations around Sydney, to “Sell Sydney” to an international market as an interesting attention grab to each episode. 60 Episodes initially. Work with the company Founder to produce each YouTube episode, supported by an off-shore team for post production. Work closely with the design team to produce a YouTube side channel around our Client work and Design Theme and Layout creation. Dissect YouTube ‘Macro’ content into ‘Micro’ content and disseminate across socials. Work with the Founder to create YouTube and social ads to sell MOBLE events. Scripting and storyboard ready for production. Create YouTube and social ads to sign people up to via MOBLE’s simple Play before you Pay design tools, where anyone can customise a theme in 3 minutes before they are asked to sign up. As part of your induction you will do a refresher course on creating a YouTube channel. Plus, we ask you to do our highly regarded course on scripting content for conversions, to ensure you are confident are well-versed in our customer acquisition philosophy. You Our ideal candidate comes with sound experience for creating content and a passion for design. Understanding of tech platforms is desirable but not essential. Content creation on social media platforms; YouTube TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn. Design on Figma Photoshop or equivalent Video Production on Final Cut Pro, Screenflow or equivalent. As such you must be able to use design programs like Figma, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent. Please ensure that your software abilities are stated in your application. You will be encouraged to work independently and creatively across varied and exciting projects.  Please note this JD was written with an internal full time team member in mind, for a number of reasons we have decided that a more experienced freelancer would be better suited to our business needs. I am open to discuss finer details such as working arrangements and hourly/day rates, ultimately the right person for the role is the priority and as such happy to work out remuneration as the conversation unfolds.
