Baseball software that records data

We are in need of a skilled software designer who understands the game of baseball and can create a fairly basic but somewhat complicated baseball data software. This software will work on both Microsoft and Apple platforms, focusing on tracking and recording baseball data for users of our baseball board (non-computer) game. After our game is played the user will enter in which team won and lost. Then the user will enter the name of each player by team and what he did during the game. For example, Babe Ruth came to bat 5 times, struck out once, walked once, hit 2 homers and 1 single. He had 3 RBIs. Statistics will be retained that will show cumulative data of an ongoing season so once a player is entered into the data base he can then be pulled up for additional record entry for each game he plays. Categories to be tracked for batters are # of at bats, singles, doubles, triples, home runs, RBIs, walks, hit by pitcher, strikeouts, runs scored, sacrifices, stolen bases, etc. The number of total hits versus at bats less sacrifices should calculate on the fly a batting average which is also a needed category. Categories to be tracked for pitchers are games played, innings pitched, win loss record, home runs allowed, strikeouts, walks, complete games, saves, hits allowed, runs allowed, wild pitches, complete games, shutouts, etc. You will need to understand how the runs allowed vs. innings pitched creates an earned run average which is also a needed category. Categories to be tracked for teams are won/loss record in a chart that shows standings from the best team to the worst. That would include the number of games played with wins/loses, winning percentage and games back of the first-place team. Team rosters with current statistics of every player (batters/pitcher) on that team could be accessed. Again, we are really looking for someone who knows the game of baseball intimately to make this work. Thanks, Richard
