My company is interested in standardizing quote forms. I would like to develop what I call a Form Generator. There will be 4 to 5 checkboxes and 1 drop down menu on the form generator. Each of the checkboxes will represent one of our services. If one or more of the checkboxes is selected, the generator will add a heading as well as an excel matrix (along with the predefined functions of the excel matrix). The dropdown menu will contain a list of products which we service. Depending on which product is selected, certain excel matrix developed by the selection of the checkbox will contain information specific to that project. I don't think this is a complicated project, and you should be able to complete it from your location. I am working with a worldwide company who has many more projects like this. Hello, I can get this done using Java Swing which you can use it across multiple platforms like Windows, Mac. But I would like to discuss more about the form generator based on the check-box selection and the combo box selection. Hello, I read your description. But will be better if you'll provide some simple pictures how the form(s) should be looking as. Upd 18-mar-14: I'll make a software that will generate new forms on-fly (like you've described). Hi, I am experienced VB programmer. Since your form involve Excel matrix, I do suggest you to create a macro in Excel to perform the task, User Interface can be provided for you to request user's input (i.e., checkboxes) and prompt out program's output (i.e., Excel matrix).
