As part of our project, I have developed an automation framework which will test set top box UI using selenium and python. I have worked on selenium for around an year, and quite comfortable with automating any kind of UI. I can write the test cases in behave framework which will help the end user to understand these test cases easily along with selenium, which will give you the flexibility to add additional test cases without touching any part of the code. I am quite comfortable with java too. If necessary, I am ready to develop the automation testing framework for your UI using java and selenium.
