Installing MS SQL Backup/Recovery and Index optimization system

I am looking for help in: * setting up a backup and recovery system for my MS SQL 2008 Server and * setting up a system to detect Index inefficiencies on my Database: i.e missing indices or (potentially) not used indices for an existing DB. In other words: I need a go-to-guy for my DB admin and performance optimization needs Please provide a documentation via notes and screenshots within a word doc about what has been done.
