Occlusion Online needs Six low poly character models created in 3D Studio Max for export into the Multiverse engine. ## Deliverables Low Poly MMORPG Character Models Occlusion Online needs low poly character models created for export into the Multiverse engine. Six 3D Studio Max models needed with textures, materials, jointed and animated: The models that we are requesting are generic RPG stile and we are flexible with the textures as long as the quality is acceptable. 1. One male and one female of an Elf 2. One male and one female of an Orc 3. One male and one female of a Dwarf, Gnome or a Halfling 4. One male and one female of a Goblin or an Ogre 5. One male and one female of a Human 6. One male and one female of The Dead or a Zombie Note: One set of Armor/clothes texture(s) for each Animations on nude figure for all the models: Note: Each animation should be a separate Max file. Walk Run Jump Swimming swimming idle Sit on ground (going down) Sit (loop for sitting) stand up Idle (Standing Position) Idle (looks Around) Combat Idle (ready Stance) 1-hand weapon (Combat) 2-handed weapons (Combat) Bow Dodge Block (shield) Dying falling Incanting a spell Spell Casting Wave Reverence Salute Dance Victory Drink potion Riding while mount walks Riding while mount runs Here is some questions and answers for the project: Q: You need 6 models with 2 genders (12 models total)? A: Yes Q: Aside from being generic do you have a style in mind? A: Please see the following links for the look and feel, [login to view URL] [login to view URL] [login to view URL] Q: What is the min-max duration for animation cycles? A: Animations should be under one second long. Since animations are generally based on 30 frames per second (FPS), this means that most animations will be 30 frames or less. Exceptions: idles (for example, idle and combat idle), looping animations (for example, walk and run) deaths, and special attacks that require long durations. Q: Each type of animation, for example walk should be the same for each character or it will be different from one to another? A: I have no problem with the animation being the same for each character, the only animation that I think could be different is ?&#8364;&#339;dance?&#8364; and that would be race specific not gender, so basically an Elf both male and female would have a slightly different dance then human, male and female. Please let me know if this if feasible? Q. The Mesh, should be done with "SKIN" or "PHYSIQUE"? A: Skin please. Q: What version of MAX you want the M file to be saved? A: 3ds Max 2008 is preferred, but we can work with earlier versions. Q: Characters should have fingers? A: Fingers are preferred. Q: Are Intellectual property (IP) rights to the project included or excluded to the buyer? A: Since we are an independent game developer we try and cut costs and will accept excluded IP rights. Q: What is the poly amount limit for each character? A: 3000 total (up to 3500 if necessary) Head: 1000 triangles. (1500 for 3500 triangle models) Torso: 1300 Legs: 750 Q: What is the texture resolution limit? A: High-profile animations such as skin and armor 1024 x 1024 Common textures such as peasant clothing 512 x 512 Q: Any LOD (line of distance) variations you need? A: Not in particular, but we are all about improving performance. Q: If you use 3d studio max 9 or Maya for modeling and rig it in max again it will be fine? A: I don?&#8364;&#8482;t have any issues with this, as long as they are MAX in the end. Our engine just imports easier with max. Also note, There is a 64-count bone limit. The 'nub' bones in any of the skinning 'add bones' they don't count toward the total. Q: What is the desired time frame for this project?
