Tutorial Writers - Software Applications, MS Office, Adobe

We are looking for a writer/developer that can create course tutorials for online learning courses on a variety of software applications. You should have the ability to research the internet, read manuals and software guides and books, write in English with correct grammar and punctuation, create simple unformatted HTML pages that include text and graphics (screen shots of software applications), create a Word document using MS Word 2007. You must have intermediate to advanced knowledge and skills in one or more of the following applications: Excel 2007, Word 2007, PowerPoint 2007, Access 2007, Photoshop CS4, Photoshop Elements 9. Below is a list of the tutorials that we are interested in having you provide. You DO NOT have to be an expert in all of them. If you can create one of the tutorials listed below, we would be interested. We are looking for more than one writer to create these tutorials and if successful, we may extend work to include tutorials on MS Office 2010 applications and Adobe CS5 applications. Please let us know the following: Which tutorial titles do you have strong knowledge in the materials you are submitting to us, how many pages of material you can create per tutorial, how long it would take you to create the content and finally, how much you would charge to do it. Intermediate Excel 2007 ??" preferably 40-100 page tutorial on intermediate Excel 2007. Provide individual unformatted HTML pages with screen shot graphics that illustrate concepts explained in the text. Also provide all of the same material in a single MS Word 3007 document that includes text and screen shots. We are seeking additional tutorial titles with the same specifications as the tutorial above. Employer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No 3rd party components unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the employer on the site per the worker's Worker Legal Agreement). Additional Requirements Legal: 1. Quality of writing: All English writing-related deliverables MUST be of grammatical, structural and logical quality commensurate with written English in a professional journal (unless otherwise stated by the Employer). If you are a non-native English speaker you are HIGHLY CAUTIONED AGAINST bidding, unless you are 100% certain that you can provide this level of writing. 2. Writing Copyright: All deliverables MUST be completely your own original work and may not be taken (in whole or in part) from any work that you do not have full and complete copyrights to (unless otherwise stated by the Employer). a. You may not quote material from other sources unless the employer explicitly gives you permission to do so. If they do, you must surround that material with quotes and cite the source with enough detail so it can be verified. b. You may not paraphrase from other sources unless the employer explicitly gives you permission to do so. If they do, you must follow generally accepted standards for paraphrasing. Merely rearranging words and phrases from another source is considered plagiarism and is illegal. To correctly paraphrase, you should read the original and then close the book/source so you cannot see it and then write the entire material from scratch using your own words. (Note: Paraphrasing is legal by U.S. law when the work is considered "Fair Use"...which generally means it will NOT be used commercially and ONLY for educational purposes. On the other hand, if you may know or suspect the work may not be "Fair Use", please inform or consult with vWorker.com.) c. If you infringe any copyright you will forfeit all escrowed funds under the terms of "fraud" in your contract and may have your account suspended. DO NOT BID ON THIS Project, unless you fully understand United States copyright law and it's ramifications to you. 3. No part of the deliverable may contain any copyright restricted 3rd party components (including GPL, GNU, Copyleft, etc.) unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the employer on the site per the worker's Worker Legal Agreement. ## Platform Should be presented from Windows Vista or Windows 7 OS. If other operating system is used, please identify. We are open to tutorials created for Mac versions as well.
