Change existing VB6 CSV file data extracting / change program

Hi: Hi: I have a clarification: In bullet point 3 and 4 in your word doc you say that the program should cut out and paste the left over data in a new column irrespective of whether 'cut only' or 'cut and replace' was chosen. I want to understand the reason for including two option if you want it to do the same thing. I have worked extensively on this kind of project before and already have an almost complete solution made on Vb.NET, i would rather use vb.net because it offer huge advantages like background workers or advanced data validators. i only have one question bout your proposal and bout the new column field, is it intended to replace an existing position? because if we are working with CSV theres only as much columns as headers (in the example file 214) but in that case if you indicate any number bellow that will replace a column and any number above it will have to become latest ie 215
