Gameserver Manager (recurring position)

Want to do something new? Something exciting and different? You are exactly right here if you are an avid gamer and know the majority to all intricacies of running game servers. Following are the requirements. Technical skills: - You know Discord in and out (managing servers, bots, webhooks and integrations). - You know Minecraft servers (managing, plugins, mods, paper spigot and waterfall). - You know Battlefield servers (managing, custom server creation with portal, renting and anti-cheat). - You know Source Engine (Steam/Valve) servers (managing, CLI Source tools, mods). - You will have to know or want to learn Linux command line and Windows. - You understand how VPN, HTTP, SSH, FTP work. - You know Trello and can organise yourself on it. - You can frequently come up with creative ideas to create new player experiences and monetization. Social skills: - You are never late to meetings. - You are highly communicative (respond within 12 hours). - You prioritise fixing issues on servers. - You can manage, understand and cater to the needs of your team. - You can recruit and inspire people to join our cause to be part of your team. - You are open minded and unbiased against all people (gender, sexuality, religion or otherwise). - You are calm, understanding, thoughtful and make rational decisions, not emotional. - You can organise yourself and have clear plan, structure to what you want to achieve. You will have to perform an interview and complete a practice task to show your skills. What we offer: - Fixed 50$ payment per month with headroom upwards once you have proven yourself. - Fixed 20% cut of all revenue made through game server based sales. - Partial access to asset platforms (Envato Elements, Monstercat Gold etc.) - A kind, understand and supportive team. - Flexibility to organise yourself and your time.
