I recently purchased a Dedicated Server using the following specs: CPU: Intel Core I7 3770 RAM: 32GB Hard Disk: 120GB SSD Operating System: Windows 08 R2 Standard Bandwidth: 20GB on 1Gbit Major Requirement Needed: 1) I need someone to access my Dedicated Server, so that they can help me create a VPS onto this Server that's running Windows 08 R2 Standard. 2) I planning to share access with a friend so i need this to be created just like the normal VPS which are currently being offered by many company's. 3) Plus please remember to explain on how the allocation of the RAM/CPU or Hard Disk space for this new VPS be like. Plus is their any possibility of having everything Equally Shared without allocating any certain resources?

Hi I have very strong skills in Virtualization field as well as in Windows/Linux Server's, i have done a lot of tasks regarding setting up VPS on dedicated servers, so this task is just a piece of cake for me. one question that HardDisk is only 120GB SSD, might be you will need to buy SAN space or it will be include in package then you will just need to connect SAN space to it? second which operating system you need to install as a VPS ? SAN (Storange Area Network) its a network which give HDD space to dedicated servers through network. well, ready to start this task by now and discuss more in detail about this task. Senior systems engineer with 3 years of industry experiences. For this you have to have a hyper-visor installed. and you MUST have public IPs. But I prefer you to install ESXi server as the host OS because it reduce the windows licence cost. Anyway please add me on skype if you want more details. I am certified MCSA. I guess you want to use HyperV for VPS. I can easy do the task and in addition i can provide with 30 min skype conversation to show you how you can do basic stuff. * Problem in whole situation is HDD space. That SSD is fast but small. * Everything else you have asked is not a problem. And regarding resource share, thing is it cant be shared on equal terms. Better solution is to use hardware machine only to host for HyperV and install 2 VPS. That way you can share resources equal and you both can do with your VPS separately what ever you want not affecting each other.
