I need someone to debug and improve my C code

I am in the middle of creating a program that reads a textfile which consists of 10 rows of names plus change (like money) values, such as: karen 40 bradley 20 julyan 95 bradley 35 ... etc. The user must input a name and if there is a match, it is required to print out the corresponding change value and if there are any double ups in the names, it should add up their change values and print out the new change value. (e.g. for Bradley, it would print out bradley 55. Calculations must be done on every change value to give the most efficient amount of change. I already have this coded, I just am having trouble with actually putting these values in the calculation. I've coded quite a large portion of this code, there are just a couple problems with the way I've decided to design it. Code available on request to those interested.
