I'm a systems programmer in C and a kernel programmer Unix/Linux; also, heavily into bash scripting, awk, grep, sed and so on, for over 25 years of experience. I'd love to work on writing the Lex and Yacc rules to do the processing steps of replacing all loops by if-else and goto statements. I haven't written Lex and Yacc rules for quite some time now (I used to write this early on, during my Computing Science B.E course, and later, in the initial days in the IT industry). All the more why I look forward to the challenge of re-visiting this.
